I’d assume that during Israel’s captivity in Egypt though, weren’t many of the native Hamitic Egyptian men taking Israelite women as wives too? Since Israelites were enslaved in Egypt, it would make sense for many of the native men of Egypt to have the power and clout to get the bulk of our women. Just saying…

From my understanding they'd be accepted regardless of the mother due to the fact that Joseph was their father. Your lineage follows the seed. Hence forth why their progeny became the fruitful and the forgotten OF Isreal.

Quick question. Does Gen 48:5 also pertain to Ephraim and Manasseh being accepted into the 12 tribes despite their mother being an Egyptian woman (Gen 41:45, 50-52)? We know there are many scriptures detailing how the Hebrews/Isrealites weren't supposed to wife up the women of the other nations (Gen 6:1-3, Gen 24:2-4, Gen 26:34-35, Gen 27:46, Gen 28:1-3, Exo 34:15-16, Num 12:1, Num 25:1-3, Deu 7:1-4 etc).
I understand Isrealites and Egyptians comingling was common at that time (Exo 12:38), but I was wondering if Gen 48:5 specifically covered Ephraim and Manasseh being accepted despite being the product of intermarriage. Thank you and peace.

They say that because they believe that they're church is the church from biblical days. I encountered this say issue when discussing masterbation on a fb post. They'll spew Bible verse without knowing what it pertains to.

Everytime I speak about church and why I don't go people always hit me with the "Forsake not the assembly" verse that is in Hebrews 10:25. Then I'm just sitting there looking stupid.

Numbers 23:19
19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Obadiah 1:18
“And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.”
Matthew 5:17
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
2 Esdras 6:56
“As for the other people which also come of Adam, thou hast said that they are nothing, but be like vnto spittle, and hast likened the abundance of them vnto a drop that falleth from a vessell
So clearly all is in reference to israel and not actual Heathen. Esaus demise is a prophecy that has not happened yet and every word must come to pass. Isaiah 14 has also not happened yet which dictates slavery. Once you comprehend what is stated you understand what is stated and who the writings are pertained towards. Every word must come to pass

@ChroniclesofJudah144 I'm reading up on the Hyksos and many scholars link them to the Horites. Some scholars say the Horites were the Hurrian (non-Semetic) people. However this doesn't seem correct because the Hurrians patterns weren't consistent with the Horites which were Semitic. Reading from Babylon to Timbuktu Mr. Windsor states that the Hyksos were a homogeneous group (ranged in color from white to dark brown) but then states that they were from the line of Japhet (which he claims to be the father of the "white" race). Could this description of the Hyksos made by Mr. Windsor be because some of the Horites that were defeated by the Edomites mixed in with them? Could it also be that because these people were from the line of Shem they treated our people with dignity and respect because they knew we were kinfolk? I came across this while reading and I knew you touched on this topic in a video but I couldn't remember to what extent. I did know however that it was a video in this series.

“Before they came together” is talking about the families of Joseph and Mary. The families have to come together for the ceremony. Then, the couple would go into the tent and come out the next day with the tokens of virginity, which is a sheet with the blood from the hymen. Essentially it is talking about the tradition of the young bridegroom consummating marriage with his bride
