new homepage (wip)

the banner i currently use for everything is about 5 years old now (and still says "games about girls who like girls" on it lol), so i've wanted to draw a nice illustration to replace it for a while now. i also... wanted a top banner for my website!!! i worked on the new layout all weekend, so i finally went ahead and finished the actual art today!!!!!!!

when did i start drawing this... it was at some point last year, i tried putting it at the top of my site but realized it was too tall (the 3rd image in this set is the original canvas). i added maiden, SEARINA, marz+jam, and some of the props... otherwise everything was drawn 6+ months ago (oops i guess i just focused on making return to ash during that time).

i tried turning it into a wider/shorter banner for the new site layout and rearranged the characters a bit, then i tiled the ask icons i drew so that you could still see the faces of some of the characters who weren't drawn in (sorry astra, sorry qmin)... i really love how this turned out, so i hope i can use it for 5 more years~

i still have a ways to go with the new css, but there's another big announcement coming on wednesday (they won't delay again right?!?!??) so i'll keep blasting on it and see if i can make it in time. if not, i can always arbitrarily update my site when it's ready! very much looking forward to it... sorry i spend all my time on webdev instead of games lately, next time i think i will have more starry flowers 2 updates.
