just wanted to write a quick post to let you guys know patreon subscriptions will, from now on, cost 30% more IF you subscribe through the app on iOS.

for example: on a $10 (USD) tier, iOS users will have to pay $14.50. $9 of that goes to me, $1 to patreon, then $4.50 to apple (if you're an iOS user). there's no reason anyone should be giving extra money to apple, so i wanted to warn everyone in case they are subbed through the iOS app... i think it only affects new subscriptions going forward though...? idk, please check on it if this applies to you!

for iOS users who still want to sub without the dumb fee: good news! you can still do it through your web browser, and it won't take the fee. uninstall the worthless app and use the browser version to save money!

if i sound mad about this, it's cuz i am! i'm mad at apple for trying to steal from creators and their fans, and i'm mad at patreon for capitulating to apple's shitty demands. BOOOO!!! capitalists suck!!!!!
