DDT 0.6.0 released: Mid-Boss

As previously announced, I have released the update to version 0.6.0 on August 6, 2025, Eastern Time in the United States. As also previously announced, this update includes significant changes, so there is a high likelihood of crashes when upgrading from version 0.5.3. If you encounter any issues, please reset the game. See “about Save, Restart, and Crash.”

The changes are as follows.

In 0.7.0pre1, the weapon storage system is now available. In 0.7.0pre2, special armor will be added for players who prefer to progress through dungeons without transforming too much. 0.7.0pre2 will be released in late August.

I have several ideas for further development. Up to version 0.8.0, I will expand the conversations, interactions, and events.

Thank you for your feedback. Expanding towns and dungeons is one of the future goals for this game. I also think town corruptions would be interesting. I may have received some of these ideas from you in previous feedback. With the implementation of mid-bosses in 0.6.0, I now have a chance to focus on these developments.

• Is the town the only town or is there a concept of a town inside a dungeon on a certain floor? • Will the town get an expansion (new locations, etc) • Will the town get more NPC(s) good or bad • Will the town NPCs stay the same or will have plot plans to corrupt the town depending on players choice.

Generally the content should match the rounds, so other than a certain boss, everything just has one attack? So it is just introducing extra grind.

Just speaking for myself but not sure making the combat longer is an improvement.
