Hello! I've been so busy making games that I forgot to introduce myself.
“Dungeon of Desire and Transformation (DDT)” is the first game I've ever released. I've played many games with similar themes in the past, and I've even tried to craft my own games up to a certain point. However, this is the first time I've actually released one.
I think most HTML games in this community are created using tools like Sugar Cube for Twine. On the other hand, I focused on Twine’s chapbook format. It doesn’t support complex processing, and in fact, DDT only uses variables, arithmetic operations, if statements, and random number generation. However, I thought this simplicity and stability were advantages. While it’s inconvenient that a player can’t create arbitrary save points, it also means a player can’t repeatedly restart from save data to achieve the desired outcome. I felt these features made the rogue-like style a good fit.
The text for DDT was thought up by me and translated into English using software translation. I received a textbook-style education in English, but I am not a native English speaker. While I can convey the meaning of the text, I find it challenging to express subtle emotions or nuances.
All the illustrations for DDT were created using AI. The prompts were created by me.
I just released DDT, but I'm surprised that there are already several members. (Due to the specifications, there are more than the number shown publicly.) I think the update frequency will increase or decrease from now on, but I would like to continue working on it until the game is complete.
Thank you for your support.
