This chapter has me wondering how strong the planet is on the second floor. Like is it comparable to the original? Was the original Eladore stronger than Ant Planet because of how many pairings it went through with lissandra? How nerfed is tutorial lissandra? Destroying a regular planet like 2nd floor liss, even strengthened, seems like it would be easy for diligence if he’s controlling stars and planets. And she says she stood at the summit of the strongest planet but it’s not clear that’s eladore?

I was never sure if she had bargained for the memories of her copy from the 2nd floor, uncorrupted by the imperfect imprint she made, or the memories of her original self before she died against Pride.

2026-01-06 22:23:10 +0000 UTCSounds like mana cycling will eventually advance to the point where Nat will be cycling mana at different wavelengths through his body, so it can more easily fit in the same space. Like light or radio waves. Instead of having more at one frequency and making it stronger, you break it up into different frequencies that occupy the same space.

Talent for crafting potentially pristine items. Facetanking nuclear warheads with his thermal. I can’t tell if Liss is just beating him down to get him to push himself and further polish what she privately recognizes as obscene talent or if her standards are really just that high. Hopefully we can get a Liss POV with internal monologue one of these days

It feels like she starts to see what Nat is going for and she seems to be convinced that it is A path for him and it could actually work to become really powerful, on par with at least champions of her times. She also said that if Nat has any talent it is for mana, so he might not be such a lost cause to reach absolute level in the eyes of Lissandra at least. Which I guess means he might be capable of killing more than half of the current rulers in the future if he continues to develop.
