Classical Mini - Dominico Scarlatti
Added 2020-09-16 04:33:05 +0000 UTCYou thought Handel, Papa Haydn and Mozart were cool?! They're not at all, but neither is this guy!!!
Comments
“It’s very minimalist music” >> plays Scarlatti As someone who pursued a bachelor of music degree in oboe performance, this is a hilariously goofy take. Minimalism is like doing the same sequence over and over, and then making slight variations on the same sequence

2020-09-17 01:35:50 +0000 UTCIf Mike had a spin-off podcast that was just hours and hours of dissecting classical works and talking about musical stuff I don’t understand, I would unironically listen to it constantly.

2020-09-16 17:41:48 +0000 UTCLove Scarlatti. When I think Minimalism I consider that more Philip Glass and Steve Reich music, or In C by Terry Riley: Small thematic materials repeated and varied. Tonal music...but tonal to the Extreme! You may love it...or it may put you to sleep. Thank you for this!
