Yes, yes, I remember that everything ended well. And it's great that the reader has the opportunity to remember this. However, reading Evie's memories, I can not help empathizing with the poor girl, who at the moment does not see any good future.

I don't know, it makes the future absolutely impossible to be better, yet you know that they were actually able to build up a better life. I think that's kind of the charm of this story for me. It's cruel in every way, but you know that at the end, all will be well :)

Being an orphan, at the very bottom of the social hierarchy, with psychological problems and phobias, this is simply impossible.((
