It's 1970, and Jimmy Foster, a broken down director back from Vietnam, takes a job at a corrupt adult theater, but when he ends up on the run, he teams with a part time hooker with a flair for drama. Hiding out in rural Arkansas, they are tasked with making a movie of their own, only to create something worse than they ever imagined.
