Shampoo definitely wasn't cursed when she first shows up in Nerima, in the original anime adaptation.

It just happened as she was scouring China looking for him I think. I also remember Mousse arriving much later. Neat to see how their changing things up. Could be closer to the manga like Dragon Ball Kai was but I don't know. 🧼
