So recently I've been spending a lot of time thinking about how I should approach making outfits for my characters. When I originally started out with my Makima model back in March, my thought process was that it would probably be a good idea to have my models come with ~4 outfits that could work with a variety of different settings. So I had outfits for a casual setting, lingerie for the bedroom, a yoga outfit for gym/exercise settings, and a bikini for beaches.
But I've noticed that most people that have used my models don't even use the outfits (shocker). This makes sense considering that 99% of people are going to be using my models for NSFW content.
So I have been thinking for a while now that I probably put a bit too much emphasis on the importance of fitting different settings, and not enough on outfits that just look nice. I think lingerie and bikinis are probably fine, but the others probably aren't that important.
Over the course of the last few weeks, I've been working to see what type of outfits would look best on my models, and I think I've made some decent progress. I intend to replace the current bikini outfit for my Makima model with the one you can see above. I think it looks significantly better. The maid outfit is similar to the one I recently added to my Yoru model but with a few additions. At some point in the future, I plan on updating my Yoru maid outfit to include these additions.
I have a lot of new outfits planned out for my other models as well, so look out for those in the coming weeks. Hopefully I will also be able to make some nice looking renders to better show off those outfits as well.
