PERK: Player Cards Have Been Updated!

Now that free agency has settled down, I have gone through and edited all of the classic player cards, available to $5+ subscribers. These include a number of updates, including:

New team affiliation
New contract information
New age information
Visual updates
New xWAR and Goalie WAR figures from EvolvingWild
New xWAR adjustment to make defencemen numbers stronger*
New goalie contract value estimates

*xWAR is the stat I use for defencemen because it uses Unblocked Shot Attempts For as the main offensive input as opposed to Goals For, and defencemen don't have as much influence on the finishing of their linemates as forwards do. However, it also includes an estimate of shooting talent which can in some cases have dramatic effects. My own tests have shown defenceman finishing to be essentially random, so I have removed the shooting estimate entirely. This improved the repeatability of the stat and I believe the descriptiveness of it as well.
