Art Book Cover Sketch

I started working on the cover for my upcoming second art book "Luminescence: Shedding Light on the Creative Process With Djamila Knopf". I wanted somethong that tied together some recurring themes of my recent artwork: cityscapes, underwater elements, and an otherworldly feel. And of course, a focus on light and colour.
It's going to be a wraparound cover, so the right half is what's in front of the book.
I must admit that I'm nervous about this one since it's quite a bit of pressure to come up with something nice. I hope you like it so far!!

2023-09-10 21:59:57 +0000 UTCDankeschön, ich freu mich sehr, dass du dich auch auf das Art Book freust! Zum Glück habe ich viel Hilfe von meinem Verlag und dadurch hält sich die Arbeit in Grenzen. Ich denke, ausverkauft sein wird es nicht so schnell. :)

2023-08-29 12:11:10 +0000 UTCIch freue mich schon sehr darauf, ein Exemplar in meinen Händen halten zu dürfen - vielleicht habe ich Glück und es ist bis dahin nicht schon ausverkauft (: Hoffentlich hast du dich durch dieses große Projekt nicht zu sehr unter Stress gesetzt. Ich habe immer das Gefühl übermittelt bekommen, wie sehr dir jedes einzelne Projekt am Herz liegt und wie viel Zeit und Liebe du in sie reinsteckst. Daher bin ich mirr sicher, dass du auch bei deinem zweiten Artbook eine grandiose Arbeit geleistet hast. ♡
