Gouache painting in progress

Are you sweating, too? It's super hot and humid here right now, but I'd take that any day over those gloomy months that we just went through.
Today I'm working on a new gouache (or poster colour) painting of a deer I saw in Nara. The park was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and I'm trying to capture that atmosphere.
I recently bought a passepartout cutter to be able to frame my traditional paintings, and to properly present them. This particular painting will go to a local auction next month. If it doesn't sell, I'll put it up in my shop instead.
Here's an earlier progress shot, and the mini poster colour palette I made to quickly access small quantities of all the colours without unscrewing every single jar. Makes mixing much more convenient!
