Ok, so this is the Page of Wands and as you can see, I kind of ignored the whole "page" concept and went with a more contemporary look. My main goal was to find an image that represented the symbolism of the card. The Page of Wands delivers the chance to be:
- creative
- enthusiastic
- confident
- courageous
Originally, the image of an enventor in steam punk-ish setting came to mind, but as I developed the idea further, the guy turned into an artist.
And since I've been practicing environments, I figured I should continue on this route and put more effort into the interior. I'm going to keep the background more painterly and the character cel-shaded. I'm excited to see how it turns out. :]
