As you can see, I provided two colour variations that I just slapped underneath the sketch and the client picked one. Then began the three-day-straight-colouring-madness. So many layers!
I'm going to include this image in the rewards for this month so that you can see a more detailed breakdown of the process.
The commisson was fun to do, but now I'm more than ready to delve into my own projects again. Tomorrow, I'll be creating the exclusive ink drawing/print for my $20 patrons. I'll let you know what it is tomorrow and I hope you'll like it. :D
Also, I spent yesterday and today doing research and writing down ideas for my first tarot cards. The very first one up is the Ace of Wands. I'm going to share the ideation and thumbnailing process with you guys once I have brought it into a comprehensible format.
