New Year Update, Packs and Votes!

Hello everyone and a very happy 'same same but different' to you all!

Thanks for being here on the campaign, supporting Language Transfer and The Thinking Method, and everything the project stands for: an integral way of learning which has every chance of changing how we interact with information, knowledge and belief, a project which promotes collaboration over competition, a movement which questions the values our cultures popularly promote... all of that is what is kept on its feet with your monthly donations! Thank you!

So, what is 2021 all about?!

-As many of you will know, I've been looking for a full-time 'dissemination person' to hire for a while, and whilst I continue to hunt for that ideal person, I'll be spending their wage on free-lancers! Expect changes to the website/a new site, a generic 'institutional video' for LT, and other such things that will really help get this project out there, mainstream style! 

-Whilst I search for new course writers to create audio courses in new languages, I'll be working on visual material for existing LT languages. This means that there will be brand new material for SPANISH relatively soon, and I'll then follow up with more languages! The first publication for Spanish will be the musical album 'Cono Sur',  ('Southern Cone'). The album will be packed with beautiful original music from this part of the world (Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile and Argentina), complete with pedagogical translations/explorations which will use the lyrics to improve your Spanish, and make you an expert at using the target language you expose ourselves to in order to learn! Remember all those moments in a course where we make great connections between different elements of language? The lyrics project will get you in the habit of doing that yourself, whilst clueing you in on important cultural elements of different Spanish speaking host cultures.

-I'll continue to construct the first non-language Thinking Method course, Introduction to Music (Theory), as part of a wider project of applying the Thinking Method to other disciplines. For the foreseeable future, I'll only be sharing test classes of this course through Patreon. This is because I'll need to go quite a bit further down the rabbit hole until I am sure enough about how this course will begin in order to record it officially, but that doesn't have to stop me sharing with you all along the way!

So that's the round up for 2021: hunting for a team of new course writers for new languages, working on visual material for existing languages, Introduction to Music (Theory), and a more solid online presence and identity for Language Transfer!
