So here's the thing...
Added 2024-05-14 11:38:33 +0000 UTCPart 2 of the most recent Fallout New Vegas video is completed in principle, but the editing software I have used forever received an update and will NOT export without multiple audio errors. This is 100% a program issue and not hardware.
I figured I would download an older version of the software, import my project into that, go over it just to be safe, and then export the audio only. Then take the exported audio, go to my current software, and splice it together and export it, in theory, without issues.
So I went to download an older version that I have a lifetime key for, but it uses the same launcher, and the launcher itself is ALSO bugged and will not download the old version of the program, even though it sits there as an available download with a big DOWNLOAD button next to it.
So I was like, hang on, back when I first used this old software in 2016, the company sent me an email with a link to the raw exe, as it was at a time that predated their launcher. And so I found the email, downloaded the exe, but the exe is acting like a 'patch' and says the software doesn't exist on the computer.
I am at my wit's end. I have submitted a ticket to Cyberlink and will be awaiting a response, when in a perfect world I could have had the video up tonight.
I just wanted to let you know that everything is on schedule, just not the software.
I am never using Powerdirector again. For 8 years it was an OK software at best. I'm jumping to DaVinci Resolve asap and never looking back.

For you as a creator, that sucks. For me as a viewer, happy to wait. Its always worth it. I love you, honey!
