Oh, yeah! They've got a great song. Count yourself very lucky! Those uguisu are quite elusive. People spend a lot of time trying to photograph or even just see them. And here, the whole family is showing up. Nice.

2025-03-06 01:36:03 +0000 UTCHeyy... the Bush Warbler is still there; Mr. Uguisu. That's him, flittering around from branch to branch. Good man! He was my only friend on Mt. Fuji for a while, when I found myself completely alone up there. (Or maybe it was a cousin of his.) They're notoriously hard to spot, and here he is making himself at home in the cherry tree. Quite a magical place, the Ol' Farmhouse.
