Nice little structure for Tiger chan. The healthiest cats I know have all kinds of stuff going on in the day, including cool places to hang out. Constant stimulation. Nobody wants to be stuck in a blasted cage, anyway. I can see some evidence of his hard life by the injury to his right ear. I'm not a cat-guy, but I am beginning to see how cats fight amongst each other through the similar injuries they present. There's another YouTube channel from Osaka called "Diorama Shokudo -Dioramas and Cats". It's a restaurant that doubles as a cat shelter. The business model is that customers get to enjoy their meal amidst frolicking cats doing battle with a toy electric train that runs throughout the restaurant. The point is, many of these rescue cats display the same injury on their ears. Pretty rough life they have to lead on the streets! Thank goodness some get rescued. For dogs coming into a new home, the rule is 3-3-3: 3 days feeling uncomfortable and overwhelmed, maybe not eating or drinking; 3 weeks to feel at home and establish a routine; 3 months to feel comfortable, build trust with the family, and bond. I don't pretend to understand cat psychology, but maybe being mammals, we all behave in similar ways. Anyway, Tiger chan seems to be warming up to the Old Boy, at least. Maybe it wasn't a "man problem" so much as a "giant Aussie problem". Cheers, and happy times to all! Please keep us abreast on the newest adventures. (Particularly regarding the hamster! Armoured plating = good idea! Hope it's effective!)
