In addition, I also received a folding one that a friend had given me as omiyage. Similarly, I whipped that thing out like a dandy, and fanned myself back to comfort. (Back here at home..? Sadly, they just sit on the shelf as souvenirs. Not quite the custom for the average man, up here in the Great White North.)
