Japanese people don't like to live near cemeteries... I reckon they make quiet neighbors!

2024-05-26 11:15:45 +0000 UTCWhere I lived in SoCal, there was a lovely, tree-lined park, as large as a city block, about three blocks from our house. We had lived there a couple of years before we discovered, scattered here and there among the trees, what I guess you would call footstones, sunk deep in the grass, with names and dates still visible. Come to find out, the park had been a cemetery! It's nice to see this one preserved.
