2022-06-19 12:26:52 +0000 UTCNow that the Japanese government sees that the foreign tourists are not a threat to the overall stability of health, they are going to let in... another 50 tourists probably. It's ridiculous how cautious the government (and the society in general) is still of foreigners because of corona virus! One would think they would simply only let in vaccinated people who have taken a corona test 72 hours before departure, but no! Let's make everything more complicated and also be wary of those potentially dangerous vaccinated tourists too! I think even the Japanese people have to be aware at this point that their unvaccinated locals are more of a threat to their health and safety than the vaccinated foreign tourists. I can see that the negative stigma towards foreigners is as strong as ever in Japan. Whether intentional or not, Japanese society continues discriminating foreigners. What a relief that nothing has improved in this department.
