New Artwork "Morning Call"

So the last piece got me a bit into an island fever. Now that I think back, I've always loved pictures or scenes of islands, no matter if it was in video games, books or movies. There lies some escapism in dreaming of islands itself, being away from almost everything, living your own life with mainly the island to tend to.
Argenta has thousands of smaller island everywhere around the bigger ones, often with just a few people living on them, which leads to a lot of people making their living as travelling merchants on boats in the more shallow waters around the islands.
As for the process- it was amazing to see the piece come alive when adding the light, although it involves a lot of tinkering around and trial and error. The sea proved to be a challenge as well, but I think I found a nice and painterly way to paint it!
By the way, I just found out I can attach the 30 seconds timelapse here as well. On instagram the timelapse is so fast you can't really see it, but here there is more time.
