New Artwork - Wizard's Travels: Visiting an old friend

So between all these commissions (I have decided not to take on any more commissions unless they pay REALLY well, which would be around 800$ in my case) I sat down today, and finally worked on my own thing again. It felt absolutely great and calming, somehow a bit as if you're really thirsty and get something to drink. Needless to say the colors were done rather fast, it only took a few hours.
There is something soothing about our wizard visiting an old friend who is a shepherd and sometimes searches for crystals in these bay area. I must say that I really like the material of the roof, wooden shingles are just amazing to look at, and have a great color when bathed sunlight yet take on a color of their own with the years which can also be interesting. Of course not all buildings have to have the same roofs, but it feels good to be content with a type of roof now, as I was searching for one that I really like and looks great in most situations for a long time.
Anyways, I have 3 commissions to finish now, 2 of them being only lineart, but I will focus more on my personal work from now on. I'll have Christmas holidays in about 2,5 weeks, and would like to be completely finished with the commissions, so I can just create for myself in my free time.
