2024-03-21 00:35:08 +0000 UTCI legitimately think the problem with the audio is that the guys in the studio will be listening to it on some sweet-ass speakers / headphones / watching it on some pimp oled with some surround sound set up, so the dynamics (difference between quiet and loud) is good, and give is that 70s talk show feel (old tv was renound for dyamic range because it was before the loudness wars of the 90s). And the people complaining about it being too quiet, are listen on low end headphones, probably on their commutes / listenning at their factory jobs (which can be loud). Would be cool to get a happy medium, were ppl watching on big tvs, in quiet rooms can enjoy the dynamic range; whilst ppl who need it super compressed and hitting that -0.5db sweet spot can enjoy when they're at the jobs?
