Channel Update

Hey there Patrons! So the EVO video is done, the annual Capcom BTR is done, the Street Fighter Retrospective is done, and the Fighting Games of 2024 video is done. In other words, for the first time in almost a year, I can actually work on some new projects. So here's an update on what we have planned.

First up, remember that poll we had on Patreon a while ago where I said I was starting a spotlight show where we talk about individual fighting games? Well I finally have time to work on it. Got all the scripts written and about half the episodes recorded. It's going to be eight episodes as a Season 1, and they'll come out every other week. I'm waiting until they're all done to start putting them out because I don't want to get four episodes out and then I realize I won't be able to get episode five out on time. But hopefully the first episode should be going up in September.

Next up, our two big shows, the next Build the Roster is going to be a Godzilla one. I know I should probably wait until the next Godzilla film actually comes out to get some synergy on it, but I've been wanting to tackle this one for a while so I'm just going to finally do it. Then for the next Fighting Game Retrospective we're doing Under Night in Birth. Got the thumbnail for this one made almost two years ago so I'm glad to finally get to it. Although I'm wondering if I should save it for October since it is Spooky-adjacent. Speaking of that I will soon be holding the annual poll for what game you want me to play for Thorgiween.

And the last thing to talk about, we are going to do the Fight for the Future charity stream again, and it will be a week long once again instead of the one day stream that we did last year. But the schedule will be more casual than in previous years. Last year we did a spontaneous one day stream, and I have to admit not coming up with a full schedule that leaves me jumping from one game to another was far less stressful, so we're going to make it more chill. Hopefully that will be late August or early September.

And for the $10 Patrons, this month I'll have two videos for you because I know the last few months have been light for all of you. Sorry about that, all those other videos were kind of wearing me out. But now that they're done I've got some stuff lined up for you I can work on.
