Well, that's really something! Add it to the list of things I've learned from you. This really speaks to "conformity" as a cultural trait, doesn't it? It's very telling. THIS, and a photo I once saw of someone taking a survey of foreign visitors to a city who would indicate their nationality by placing a round red sticker in a box under their country's flag on a big poster board. Most participants placed the sticker haphazardly in the box identifying their place of origin. The Japanese stickers were all near-perfectly aligned in nice, neat columns, except for a few ragged ones. This kind of thing would be considered really rude, and bordering on invasive where I live. Another example of how our societies are so "opposite". Good one, Ed. That was a huge cultural lesson in a minute, twenty-five seconds. EDIT: Ah!
