Status Update

Good evening everyone, I hope you're all doing well and had a good weekend. I've got some stuff I want to talk about with you all, and instead of doing it under a story post, I'd like to do it here.

First, I've fallen a bit behind on writing this month. I still have a vignette I need to knock out (which should happen tonight, but it may not get approved until tomorrow), and I still need to do this month's second poll story. Beached was ahead when I sampled the poll a second time, so that's what I'll write~ I'm going to do my best to get that done in the next couple days while I get the poll going. I was late setting up the post for the options, so that'll be running a few days late too, so everyone has time to get their idea in. I want to thank all of your for your patience while I get caught up. You're all awesome, and your support means a lot to me.

Second, I want to talk about why I've run so late this month. I don't think I've really mentioned it here, but aside from writing, I've been out of work for close to a year at this point. As much as I'd like to do this full time, that's a goal that's still years out, and I need to find something else in the meantime. Last week, I managed to land something in my field and I've been running around taking care of pre-employment stuff. I start in the middle of april, and I'm flying out of state for a few days of training before I get started locally. I think this job will be a good fit for me, and I can honestly say I'm looking forward to it.

I don't know how this is going to impact my writing time, but I don't plan on stopping entirely. If I have to scale back, I'll be sure to let you guys know so you can adjust your pledges accordingly. 

But no matter what happens, I'm eternally grateful for your support. I think I would have dropped writing a while ago without readers like you all.
