That may sound silly but the thing I was most impressed with was the size of the stones in the castle foundations. There's a nice view from the top too. Well if I go back to Japan I'll look at visiting Himeji Castle then!

2021-01-10 23:22:35 +0000 UTCOsaka Castle is a nice walk but as you said, it's not up there in terms of authentic Japanese castles. The museum inside is a bit ordinary too. Himeji is amazing.
