Video: Illegal Abandoned Factory gig circa 2018-19

Here's another set sent by Nova from a few years ago, which the dug up on their phone about a week ago. It was massive fundraiser festival run by a bunch of anarchists to raise funds for West Papuan refugees (if I recall correctly). Some other artists I played with - some of us at the same time across several different parts of the factory - included V (darkwave), Pala (skramz) and Spasmoslop (weird costume noise). On the main factory floor next to us was a rave with a massive improvised sound system which was very audible during the quieter parts of my set.

I played in a long dark spooky hallway which was admittedly quite atmospheric.

But the highlight of the night was when the cops decided to try and shut down the entire thing - which had hundreds of attendees. Specifically they were trying to bust down the door during V's set. In true V style, they responded with mere annoyance that they couldn't finish their set before we all bolted.

We had to quickly pack all our gear up (we all used suitcases) and escaped through a cut chain-link fence in the abandoned lot behind the factory before we got done. I have no idea what happened to those with a lot of gear who didn't get out in time.

I dislike watching videos of myself live so I havn't seen the above yet. Might do an edit later letting you know my thoughts on the set as I don't remember it at all. And if I can, the exact date and details of the gig.
