WIP - hypochondriasis

from the same unfinished release as "Chlamydia" and is the track immediately after, and is also a heavily modified form of a live performance I did in november 2022. I feel this release is going to focus on what this song is titled (at least temporarily), as its something I have suffered from quite a lot, and isn't as funny as a lot of jokes make it out to be. There are few things more terrifying than believing you have multiple sclerosis or cancer and getting the symptoms as a conversion disorder. I feel like more people should be aware of the condition, as it is not uncommon and treatable.

this piece focuses on some samples I found evocative (see if you recognize the main one). I also think the piece is quite playful with a sense of humour. I took a lot of inspiration from Rudolf Eb.er and David Phillips on this, especially with the naturalistic samples.

The drums at the end are real and performed by me. It's actually stick clicks on a floor tom with metallic reverb.

let me know what you think, and how finished you feel it to be. still tossing up whether to add some subtle spoken word, goregrind screams maybe some more drums. Mixing also still not final.
