We are seeking some opinions from Patreon regarding a serious distribution matter . As you guys are Patreons who are already paying for content we think it would be best to also hear a third party opinion .
As you guys may know , we have been on tapas for quite some time , no we are not officially published by them , and no publisher owns the full exclusive rights to LMB . This allows us to be on more than one platform at a time . However we will now also be on INKR COMICS where the content there will be uncensored (only glow sticks and we can show our gore ) we will be able to be more free there. However, this is the problem , we will be a premium comic on inkr , but the editor told us for us to get the full potential out of LMB we should consider making it paid content on their platform , this is where the issue comes In.
Tapas doesn’t show any interest in putting LMB in the mature section of their platform and honestly we don’t really care , however we care about our readers and fan base that we have grown on tapas, we are sure our fan base would go wherever LMB goes but it’s still a risky decision. We can’t be free content on one platform and paid on the other , it doesn’t make any sense especially for that publisher , therefore we need to be paid content on all platforms or free on all platforms but it has to be one .
Also another problem about making LMB paid content now is we don’t feel comfortable with patreons having to pay again to read the story using the scroll methods that most platforms have , we know some if not, most of our patreons still read the chapters when we put them up on tapas to experience a more free reading experience than early access .
Although we know you don’t only pay for early access on Patreon but also more material and information and more safe space for discussion, it’s still a very serious decision.
We would love to hear your opinions, 1. Keep LMB as free so it can be on more platforms as a premium comic or 2. Make LMB paid content fully and leave tapas behind [if they don’t take our offer].
Please give us your opinions if you can and a detailed reason why, it would make it easier for us to put it into perspective.
Just to make it clear , LMB is owned by us fully, no platform will ever own the rights to LMB , which is why we will always have Patreon for early access and for other stuff, don’t worry about that , we won’t leave Patreon haha .

Is there any other option to read it in Spanish? I have no problem reading in English but I would understand 100% in Spanish. The good thing is I improve my English and learn new things. 😄😍😍

Tapas does not seem to see or support your vision so I think it’s time to say your adieu’s and go to a platform where you can have full expression and also get paid for the time, work and effort you put into LMB and leave Patreon for exclusive uncensored artwork, and whatever else! I and I’m sure everyone else here followed you guys cause we not only love LMB but you guys as creators. Your fans will go where you go! Best of luck!

I instantly went & joined patreon so I could enjoy LMB to the fullest. LMB has me completely hooked, I will continue to show my support so I may continue to enjoy my obsession. LMB is worth every penny!!

LMB is a great comic and im loving it. i saw it on tapas first then when k know that you guys have patreon i registered here to show support and early access as well. if they really love it they will surely follow you guys. :) as long as we have still early access here in patreon. i think its not a bad idea to leave tapas. 🙂🙂👍👍👍

I will never forget the first time I was on your Patreon and read that your biggest wish is to make LMB freely available everywhere in multiple languages. That's why I can well imagine that it's like a setback to leave Tapas 😔, But I think to keep the originality of what LMB is all about, it's better for you to be more free than to make it available for free 🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️ I support you no matter what ❤️❤️

However, I'm not sure though about whether the comic should be exclusively free or exclusively paid... 😓

2022-01-22 03:11:14 +0000 UTCI don't think I understand different webcomic platforms enough to really offer any constructive opinions, but I will say that this is the only content I've ever supported on Patreon. And I think there are only like one or two comics on Tapas or Webtoons that I paid money for early access to. I didn't even realize I had been reading on illegal websites for the longest time, my friends just sent me links and I read stuff, and was just generally confused about it all. But for me, it is about accessibility, and a drumming up of interest enough for me to care enough to pay for access. I dig the Patreon thing, and I like the active-ish role we can play in supporting artists we care about. But do whatever is best for y'all, I'll follow wherever.

Sugiero probar otra vez en Lezhin, he visto obras con historias maduras como LMB en esta plataforma y les vaz muy bien. ❤️ I love all the effort you are making here
