Hey guys, I've had a few members message me about being double charged for their memberships. After investigating I noticed that the members in question were all ones that upgraded their memberships.

How Patreon works is if you upgrade your membership at some point after you initially subscribed, your original membership renews at the upgraded tier even if it's only been a couple days since you paid for the upgrade. For example, just say you subscribed on August 2nd at the $3.50 tier, then on August 28th you decide to upgrade to the $16 tier then you will be charged at the new higher $16 rate on September 2nd which is your renew date.

So if you upgrade your membership to see some higher tier posts or to get the new update, be mindful of your renew date so you won't see charges you're not expecting.
