[Opening B-Class Blind Box, congratulations, you have obtained the "Accumulate Virtue and Do Good System"!]
[Accumulate Virtue and Do Good System: Each time you perform a good deed or receive someone's gratitude, you will earn "Virtue Points." Accumulating enough points will grant you rewards.]
[PS: This system only works in reality.]
Can blind boxes actually give out systems too?
Moreover, this system is the complete opposite of the Evil Life Simulator—it’s the Accumulate Virtue and Do Good System.
This means that in the life simulations, you have to be as bad as possible, but in real life, you need to be a good person.
While Li Xingshan often helps others, he doesn't do it for the rewards; it's just his nature.
You could say he's kind-hearted, or less flatteringly, a bit of a pushover.
In novels or manga, he might end up as one of those gentle protagonists.
However, since doing good deeds can earn rewards, that's a pretty good deal.
At least it's better than being forced to be a villain.
Besides, even if the events in the life simulations are fictional, Li Xingshan still feels a bit guilty.
If he can make up for it by accumulating virtue and doing good, that would be great.
"Rakani Chu!"
"Makabaka!"
Just then, a strange growling sound came from behind Li Xingshan.
He turned around to see two eerie creatures with dark skin and white masks approaching him, one holding a wooden club and the other a torch.
They radiated hostility.
Hilichurls?
Being familiar with the game Genshin Impact, Li Xingshan immediately recognized these monsters.
As the most common enemy throughout the game, from the lowest-Class Hilichurls to the more troublesome Stonehide Lawachurls, they are enemies that players frequently encounter.
However, for the newly-transferred Li Xingshan, facing these sudden enemies made him nervous.
"Chonunyamasila!"
One of the Hilichurls, wielding a wooden club, yelled as it charged at Li Xingshan.
Although Li Xingshan was generally peaceful and never got into fights, he had learned some fighting techniques from his grandfather due to family reasons.
Of course, he learned those techniques mainly to make his grandfather happy.
After all, in his eyes, his grandfather’s so-called "moves" seemed no different from some flashy but ineffective martial arts.
But now, as the Hilichurl attacked, those moves came to Li Xingshan's mind like a reflex.
He sidestepped to dodge the club, then countered with a punch to the Hilichurl's chest.
"Facebreaker!"
Perhaps because it was the only active skill he knew, Li Xingshan instinctively used it.
The skill's principle is "the more damage you take, the harder you hit." But against a low-defense, unarmored Hilichurl, Li Xingshan's punch landed with a crack, breaking the Hilichurl's ribs and sending it flying like a broken kite.
The Hilichurl struggled briefly before its body went limp and dissolved into a black mist, disappearing into the ground.
[Killed a monster, earned 10 points.]
So you can even earn points by defeating monsters?
It seems that this so-called "Accumulate Virtue and Do Good System" is also based on actions that benefit humanity. After all, killing creatures is not inherently a virtuous act.
However, Li Xingshan didn't bother thinking about these complicated issues; being kind does not mean being weak.
When the other Hilichurl saw its companion killed with a single punch, it immediately lost its arrogance and tried to run away.
Without hesitation, Li Xingshan stepped forward and punched it to death.
[Killed a monster, earned 10 points.]
Seeing the distant outline of Liyue Harbor, Li Xingshan started his journey, battling monsters along the way.
Meanwhile, in a bedroom of a mansion in Liyue Harbor:
"Kill... kill you!"
A purple-haired girl suddenly sat up from her bed.
She looked to be about twenty years old, with bright eyes, white teeth, and fair skin, but her face was pale and covered in sweat.
She was Keqing, one of the Liyue Qixing.
The reason she woke up in a fright was due to a very strange dream she had just experienced.
In the dream, she returned to her childhood and encountered a bad boy named Li Xingshan.
Because of him, she was isolated at school, expelled, and even her family was affected, forcing them to leave Liyue.
After leaving Liyue, Keqing's family fell into decline, and her father died in despair.
Unable to bear the pressure, Keqing chose to jump off a cliff to end her life.
Surprisingly, she didn't die but was saved by the Abyss Order.
They promised her great power in exchange for her loyalty.
Maybe it was because she had experienced life and death, or maybe it was due to her desire for revenge, but the utterly despondent Keqing agreed to the Abyss Order's deal.
After a series of excruciating transformations, Keqing finally obtained immense power.
She became a high-ranking officer in the Abyss Order and sought revenge on Liyue, the city that had "abandoned" her.
At this point, Keqing's strength was far beyond what it used to be.
Her innate talent was already very high, and with the transformation and her blackened state, she now surpassed the Liyue Qixing.
She became the demoness "Thunder Fiend" and destroyed the families of all the children who had bullied her.
The instigator of all this, Li Xingshan, was left for last.
When Keqing finally beheaded Li Xingshan with a single stroke, a part of her consciousness suddenly returned, and the terrifying scene before her woke her up.
Panting heavily, Keqing tried to calm herself down.
It was just a dream, but it felt so real.
She wiped the sweat off her face and got out of bed.
The nightmare lingered in her mind, making her uneasy.
"That was... too realistic," she muttered to herself. "Why would I dream of such things?"
Keqing didn't know the answer, but she couldn't shake the feeling that this dream was more than just a random nightmare.
There was something ominous about it, something that made her believe it was a warning of some kind.
She resolved to stay vigilant and to look into the name "Li Xingshan," just in case there was more to this dream than she understood.
