It also has a lot of Christian parallels such as neo being the 'one' like Jesus, who comes to save all, Trinity being the holy trinity and they are betrayed by a Judas character, there's a lot more but that's a small summary

Just to calm down enough after seeing the special effects and then begin to process what “ the matrix “ really is. I remember watching the preview and Neo & Trinity on the rooftop and Neo bent back in slow motion the time, everyone in my house was like WHAAAT JUST HAPPENED!! This movie was really something special in 1999! It will always be special for me! Some great memories! Loved this reaction! Thank You!!
