i swear I said once that if we didnt mention the animation i didnt think they wouldve noticed and tho Lola maybe would have Milena is clear she would have not hahahaha and I understand them bc the first time i watched it i didnt even notice at all LOL

2025-05-10 10:45:18 +0000 UTCI feel like Kita and his speeches really sets the tone for the rest of Haikyuu. It's hard to explain but to me the plot and writing feels distinctly separated by pre-Kita and post-Kita.

And he's literally going machine gun for machine gun with the literal best setter in high school. Tobio Kageyama is a GENERATIONAL TALENT.

I like the movie, but after hearing just how much it's missing I finally ran to the bookstore two days ago and got the first collection of volumes 1-3 of the manga and will just keep doing that I guess. Not making a season 5 is utterly ridiculous.

Also, after you watch the movie, I would also recommend re-reading that match in the manga, since a lot is cut out, and certain moments have more buildup and impact (although I still love the movie). Around chapter 248 would be a good place to start.

2025-05-06 23:48:55 +0000 UTCwell, finally up to date with haikyuu and a few things about the last few updates... lola, when you said you've never been more delusional about a character that with the whole tanaka and kiyoko thing you made up... let me remind you about ari in vinland saga, you literally saw him in a couple episodes and spent two seasons talking about him. anyway, love bokuto, he reminds me of a friend so much it's uncanny, love nekoma and the boys and can't wait to keep watching and who am i kidding, probably reading after just so i can know what happens next. yesterday i went to the beach to read and there was a group playing volleyball and i had half a mind to ask to join in, too bad i'm not an extrovert 😂
