The production alone, were consisted of a lot of industry S+ tiers from director to VAs (almost all the characters and side characters you'll hear more soon), composers, animators. So it's no wonder an already highly anticipated manga getting insane level of everything would already reach heights in its premiere alone. This arc elevated Frieren's popularity even more, on top of quality of everything. Fern's sakuga last episode is one, but the "KYS" scene (Keep Yourself Safe;) gave the show so much memes everywhere. The "low tier god" memes. The screenshot to the start of Frieren's association to games. And I know you girls may not grasp this but Aura was actually a subject of so much memes with the theme of being told what to do, specially in fanarts. Everyday there's always new fanarts of her. 100, 200k likes, 300k+. I've seen it all 🤣 you guys def just got an answer how it got extremely popular.

Instead not only do we get a LOT of backstory for our MC, it manages to tell a quiet and touching story about life after the death of a parental figure, whilst still delivering on one of the coldest ends to a fight in anime. As someone whose biggest fear is losing my loved ones, this show has helped me so much in not taking the time I have with them for granted. So happy you're reacting to this so I get to happy cry all over again <3

When we eventually watch Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, we'll have her in the lead role for 52 episodes and get to enjoy her talent. She will also voice a character in Monster, but unfortunately it is only a small role.

I've talked to some people who kinda lost their ability to socialize just from the several months of Covid lockdown. How do you handle trying to reconnect with other people after almost a thousand years of being alone? Also, the track that plays during that scene is titled "Freiren the Slayer"

2024-08-30 22:53:45 +0000 UTCI would like to say Happy Frieren Friday as per usual but I get so sad knowing Flamme's VA passed away a week ago and I knew once we get this reaction we would get more screentime of her compared to the other episodes ..... and the scene about planting more flowers around her grave as this is Flamme's favorite spell. RIP to the legendary VA
