He tells the driver to drive through needle people because they are beyond help, indicating that if they were regular people or there was a chance to save them he would not consider running them over even in such tense situation. Hunter exam killua would drive though anyone in to escape. The line is very subtle. genius writing from togashi

Bro eyes are literally the deep abyss of nothingness & darkness but seems to only smile at Killua from what I noticed.

Now killua did have the proclivity to stray away from the assassin life on his own when he rebelled against his family and escaped. But it is my head Canon that Gon is the one unintentionally guided him in the right direction. Gon was just being himself
