Trouble with the RSS feed?
Added 2022-10-16 16:46:34 +0000 UTCMultiple patrons have reached out to me recently about having trouble with the RSS feed and their podcast apps. The exit surveys tell a similar story.
In the years we've been doing the bonus episodes through Patreon, I've never seen this many people have issues. My guess is there's a genuine bug with the RSS feature. I've reached out to Patreon myself about this apparent glitch, but if you're having trouble please try the steps offered in this article:

Sorry for the trouble everyone. The RSS feeds still seem to be working for the majority of subscribers, so disregard this if you're not having problems.

I’ve tried everything on the troubleshooting link that was sent. No luck, even after installing other podcast apps (everything just says zero episodes posted). I’m not even seeing audio posts under membership on the patreon app. 🤷♂️

2023-01-06 01:52:59 +0000 UTCOk idk if this will work for everyone, but I use Pocket Casts and the RSS I got from Patreon would pull up the image of the bonus feed, but when I clicked would show an error message. I took the RSS feed, added it to podcast addict, then copied the RSS link from podcast addict and pasted it into Pocket Casts and it worked. IDK why or how this worked, but it's worth a try. I also scrolled all the way to the beginning of the RSS in the Pocket Casts search bar when it worked. Those are really the only two variables that changed.
