I do see it in their patreon list but when I click on it it says no posts. I must be losing it but I don’t see One Piece reactions anywhere. You can search LM reactions One Piece on YouTube also and nothing comes up and I keep looking on patreon and it’s Black Sails, Hunter X Hunter etc. but no One Piece. Please help.

No one is saying indefinitely, and I 100% agree they should just wait until 102 and then the other spoilers are minor and no different from intros. Its just that one part in 102, this one character. I think itll be much better to be introduced to her organically than have the outro spoil the whole king development arc thats about to happen

2024-01-30 08:59:30 +0000 UTCThe point is "better" is negligible and means we have to wait for extra time when other reactors didn't need to do this and it really wasn't a big deal that they find out a bit sooner. It doesn't lessens both their and our experience because for one, they are/were willing to just watch it now anyways (and obviously expressed that they want to, given lola's tone at the end from skipping it) and two we have already seen it and three if people were so purest about the "experience" they would have argued harder for them to not watch ANY op/ed period. This inbetween stuff is really dumb which is what I'm arguing against. Again, other reactors did it just fine. And other reactor group incidentally did opt to skip them entirely.

Whether or not it's a minor or major spoiler doesn't matter, what matters is that ANY spoiler lessens both their and our experience.

It TELEGRAPHS heavily, sure, nobody denied that, but again, the intro literally shows more than "these new characters appear" and they've watched that already a million times. This is my point though, if they aren't going to permanently skip the outro, there really isn't that big of a difference between watching it now vs 102 or 108 except we have to wait weeks for them to react to it. Go watch the ending to 102 right now and tell me it doesn't spell out what's going to happen very heavily and it a good showcase for why I don't like the narration for parts of the arc. They aren't teenagers watching primarily anime, they've watched shows like the wire and other denser shows before. They will catch on very fast and so it just feels like delaying for little reason and the anime does gives us the outro now. Again, I would be on board if they skip the outro completely but they're gonna watch it anyways.

The comment section should not be confirming or affirming anything they have speculated on... and the outro DOES have spoilers similar to the intro. Some of us have higher standards when it comes to spoilers.

The reasoning you're using for skipping the outro works if they wait until 108 or so (at that point it just confirms what we're seeing on screen so it's not that compelling anyways). Watching it now vs 102 doesn't make as big of a difference except the first appearance isn't as shocking but the end of that episode literally telegraphs the direction. I'm serious. Go rewatch it now and it telegraphs it HARD. The most ideal way would be for them to completely skip all intros/outros but they said they aren't doing that so in light of that, this outro is not that big of a deal if they aren't going to skip it all anyways. We'll get better and more novel discussions faster. Now it's an extra week if they do skip.

2024-01-30 02:49:44 +0000 UTCDawg, the character dynamic gets spoiled in episode 102 when the episode narrator all but tells us explicitly where it's going. They've watched The Wire and many other shows in general. They aren't dumb when it comes to more thematic and non mechanical aspects of the story. Delaying it is just deprives of interesting discussions and reactions especially during these lesser episodes. You can already tell they're complaining that "not much happens" or episode ends too fast (for many episodes now) and I agree even if they are being far more diplomatic and crowd pleasing in their wording to not piss off fans. If they uploaded more ep a week (there's one react channel that does 4 a week) I may be inclined to wait more since they'll get to the great parts earlier, but at the pace they're going it's gonna be a while and it would be nice for meatier discussions each week. At the end of the day it's up to them but I do think you guys are overreacting given they've said they aren't going to permanently skip the intro/outros regardless which is the ideal way of watching. Otherwise I would propose skipping all entirely but they aren't gonna do that anyways.

It pretty much just shows a dynamic but it's nothing explicit and they're gonna watch the outro anyways since they aren't going to postpone it indefinitely. The narration of episode 102 literally telegraphs the direction the arc goes and they aren't stupid and have hinted strongly at it already (why do you think they count down to episodes where the king is born). Also, I'm not the one who kept mentioning the ant arc from all the way. I swear I've heard them mention it like 50 episodes before the start of the arc. Max and Sauli you guys are being way too overzealous. They have LITERALLY mentioned it themselves AND CAN SEE IT EVERY TIME THEY WATCH THE INTRO (they've commented on it MULTIPLE TIMES). And the nature of it is still very ambiguous.

2024-01-30 02:24:33 +0000 UTCmy problem is that people are telling them to skip only till 103, which doesn't make sense cuz the biggest spoiler in the outro for me is how it spoils the direction of the arc. the fact that some characters are introduced early in the outro doesn't matter compared to the entire point of the arc. if they are only skipping it for a few episodes I don't see the point. and while yes I agree with you that the show itself hints at the direction of the arc, there would still be room for them to speculate and discuss. whereas the outro basically confirms it. but idk cuz everyone is bringing up good points

Literally the Outro gives a spoiler of what the whole arc is about, more than the OP. Like, I know people exaggerate when they ask you not to react to the OP/Outros because you MIGHT catch something if you think about it, but like, there's no room for you to "catch something" in the Outro. It's very explicit what the Outro is about once you watch it. It will be more fun not to watch until ep 102/103. After those episodes the events of the Outro will become obvious in the show itself so you won't be spoiled by the Outro.
