Love how you guys said the best part of the show is that it has heart, and that it’s not about the battles-I completely agree! While the battles are fun when they come up, if that is the sole reason someone watches hxh, then I don’t think it’s something they can fully enjoy/appreciate. It’s the heart and the subversion of expectations that hxh really shines imo! Love hearing your guy’s thoughts, it’s always so insightful!

Honestly, I loved watching hxh by myself doing whatever I liked. I loved hxh even though I watched all the intros, got spoiled a bit, etc. I don't think it's necessary to micro-manage everything they do. The things they know and are expecting won't take away much from the story. And if it does, it'll take away just the tiniest bit from the experience. I feel like if I were making these videos for my community, I would rather see comments about the video itself rather than what I should/shouldn't do. Commenting about what they or other people should do is pointless (yes I am aware of the irony lol) as people aren't the same as everyone else and are prone to do whatever they want. I love how everyone wants the best experience for them, but part of the experience is also the comments. If someone spoils something major, you can berate them in the REPLIES. But comments in general I feel should be about the video.

Y’all just declare everything a spoiler. Someone could be like “Gon kicks a pebble” and you’d scream that it’s a spoiler. Spoilers are meant for important plot developments. Showing Killua’s electricity isn’t a spoiler. Neither is showing Hisoka seemingly working with the boys as there is no context to it.

I wanted to comment this on your previous HxH video. The previous episode with ending of Pakunoda sacrificing herself for the group and the boss, and choosing personal connection over the "established rule of the group", together with Kurapika choosing his friends over his revenge, is the reason why I consider HxH one of the best shows in terms of values. Despite the huge amount of sociopaths and violence going in the show, It`s very "human", and the values of the show are very "human". And, I would write it without a single spoiler, "At the ending of the Greed Island Arc you would see it once more".

People rarely consider Greed Island the best, which I find interesting. Personally, I've often heard the opposite opinion, and I don't quite understand it. I'd rate it 7/10

I'm glad that they don't care. Most people don't. Most people don't think that there are spoilers in the openings. Only weird anime fans get this worked up over "spoilers" in the openings. Y'all are placing way too much importance on small things. Showing new characters aren't spoilers. Killua developing a hatsu isn't a spoiler. Y'all don't understand that OPs are there to get the viewer hyped. And the ladies were definitely hyped from viewing it

⭐️spoilers💧 Oh please, the show mentions that character's existence the second ep into the arc; LM are smart enough to know and quickly pick up information that is setup for future plot lines. It's only a twist if you watch and take in the story on a very surface level, which the girls don't, they literally picked up on the ability to remove nen at the beginning of the YNC arc. A bigger spoiler is how many times they've shown the new girl in the current intro and outro with the boys (and Hisoka).

Completely agree. How can you see their faces light up at seeing these new characters and think they shouldn't watch it? Or seeing their curiosity fuel their imaginations at seeing Hisoka seemingly working with the boys? That's the good stuff right there. It's a shame that some people don't appreciate anticipation anymore. Surprise can only get you so far, but anticipation can make you go even further

I don’t know why this is so controversial. Every opening of hunter x hunter until this point doesn’t have any significant spoilers. However, the next opening will absolutely spoil and change expectations for a VERY a important part of that arc. Part of the importance of that anxiety/ anticipation will be GONE if they see the opening. So I think they should definitely skip the opening up until a certain episode, then they can watch it. That being said, I won’t be too upset if they end up watching it. But I would love it if they don’t.

I wanted to mention this now since I won’t have many chances where it’s relevant anymore, and I want to get it off my chest. Kurapika’s story is only beginning. He has so much more love to show, bonds to make, kindness to share, but also tragedy to unveil and self-destruction to commit. He values his own life so little. His suffering is nothing in front of his loved ones, he says. He is prepared to obliterate himself in ways you will be shocked to learn, as if he’s punishing himself for even living when his loved ones could not. Survivor’s guilt consumes him. I don’t believe he thinks he should be alive, not after I’ve seen how he treats himself in the manga. Yet Kurapika never fails to give me reason to beam with pride. He is so adamant that the only one that should be suffering for his clan is HIM. And suffer he does…. always. His burden is infinite, as heavy as can be. Kurapika is beautiful inside despite it, he cares so much for people in ways you haven’t even seen yet. Such inconceivable pain and emptiness couldn’t have happened to anyone less deserving of it than his gentle soul. Thank you for reminding me why I love Kurapika with your reactions, and I promise you there is so much more to his story. But it is VERY bittersweet. There is a very real chance his story may never conclude as well, since Togashi is sick. So yeah, just bittersweetness all around. Last thing I’ll leave with is his divine character song. There is certainly a balance. This opening doesn't spoil anything. The chimera ant opening ABSOLUTELY spoils the first quarter of that arc.

I love the fact that they didn't get enough time with Kurapika - when you think about it, he's been around for the better part of 40-50+ episodes, but it's still not enough - that's when you realise that 148 episodes total is not the crazy amount of episodes it seems like at first - can't wait for what's ahead :)
