December update is brewing!
v1.8.0 will improve emissivity of blocks, ice and redefines (what I'd call) metals with blue tint, along with a lot of other changes which you'll discover in the release post.
Did you know, the little bumps on the new bamboo block top are based on average brightness of each bamboo top? Yes! that is how Vanilla RTX is made.
Vanilla textures themselves are sometimes a perfect guidance, in this specific instance, when a bamboo top has a darker average color, that would mean the overall shading of that part of texture is darker too. Minecraft almost always designs textures in a way that texture patterns won't appear to have spots that are too eye-catching, having height based on it (in this instance) is not only more faithful to the Vanilla texture, but also produces the best result for the pattern.
Other bamboo blocks will also be updated to fully match new bamboo blocks.
Since only two new blocks were added to the game after 1.7.8's release, I'll be able to get more done before pushing this update.
Right now (if nothing else changes) you can expect v1.8.0 to arrive before December 15th.

This Patreon page is getting close to its first goal, once reached I'll be starting a complete rework of RTX Des Bijoux, the only non-vanilla 32x pack for Minecraft RTX, I have already envisioned many things for this pack, and I can say it will be amazing.
