September Progress Report 2024

Hi all!

So, I did not get part 3 finished like I initially thought I could so, safe to say, the final release date is going to be in December so I can truly give the last part the polish and quality you guys deserve.

Time to show what I did get done then!

Art

Background layouts and inks: Me

Rendering: DeetsDevil

Last two background to be added to the game! Top one I ask fans what I should put on the posters to make it feel more like at home and got some funny recommendations. It’s likely most players wont see this room though unless they make a certain tough decision. 

The bottom bg I am quite proud of myself. Namely because of of the stained glass mirrors. One for each of the Seraphim, including past ones. Though, some are broken. I guess who ever broke them didn’t like them, but kept the frames in place regardless. 

Programming

I got a good chunk done but I still have a ways to go. Fortunately I’ve gotten the hardest part of the coding done so everything should be finished much quicker. 

Other Stuff

Here is a character lineup of all the characters that will be featured Sam Rose's (writer for Repurpose)'s own directed visual novel titled "Haven University: Making A New Friend Begins Here". It's still heavily in pre-production and is being handled by Sam himself so it doesn't effect Repurpose's part 3 update's development.

Thats it for now. Besides game dev stuff I celebrated my birthday sep6 and had a fun time at Gatorland. I just think alligators are neat. Those gators are living the good life getting fed everyday and sunbathing in the hot sun. I even got to sit on one (with a staff employee overseeing and the gator’s mouse wrapped shut because obviously)! Then I spent a week in Texas with my mom and got to relax at with her at home. I also went to take back my late brother’s dog with me to Florida as my mom is too old to take care of him. Here he is.
