Happy one full year of quarantine everyone!
Goodness, it’s been a year of covid already huh… hopefully you’ll have gotten or are planning to get vaccinated soon. I know I am!
Since the last entry, I’ve moved to Florida and am still getting myself situated in my new home. I’ve got a bit of homesickness and my pug (Ruby) has been having trouble getting adjusted to her new home. Usually, she was able to go outside, sunbathe, play with my mom’s dog, and potty whenever she wanted to but now I have to take her out myself every morning and evening just so she does her business.
On the plus side, I’ve been getting up in the morning as opposed to noon so that should help me be more productive moving forward!
A bit reluctant to report that we’re still finishing up route writing and rebuilding the demo so we’ll be working on wrapping that up in April.
So, for now, I’ll showcase the bits of work that were managed to get done along with more supporting character reveals!
Backgrounds
Stripclub/ Courtroom (Artist: TJ)
During Ramon’s route, you get to visit one of his businesses in the Lust Circle that being a strip club that doubles as a therapy clinic. It’s called “Sinhotheraphy”.
In the variant, we see what happens when an impromptu court hearing is called into session. Looks like Ramon’s in a bit of hot water and it’s up to the player to save his ass!
Irene’s Bedroom ( Artist: TJ)
Don’t think I’ve shown this before, but this is what Irene’s bedroom at her manor looks like! She’s quite the weapon collector.
Now, these next three are WIPs that are being done by myself. I’ve been busy with writing and moving so I haven’t had much time to go back and finish these yet.
Noel’s Home
I’m not 100% satisfied with the color palette but the general layout will remain the same. THis is Noel’s main living room/kitchen and yes he does live like this.
Irene’s Office (Artist: Eros)
Self-explanatory. It’s Irene’s office space at her work. The player can eventually choose to hop from Ramon’s route to Irene’s if they want to get their death report.
Food Court/ Hordes Throne Room (Artist: Eros)
This will probably one of the more difficult backgrounds I tackle since there’s just going to be a lot of garbage and stuff pilling everywhere. This is where Hordes keeps all of his treasure.
Music
More music had been made!
Supporting Characters
I thought about cheesing it and showing some of the other choir members (besides Cheri and another) that make brief appearances but I think backers deserve better than that lol.
From the highest positions of The Choir: Dominion. His domain’s role is to ensure everything in Utopia is functioning accordingly, lawmakers, enforcers, and decide the prerequisites in order to get into Utopia.
He shows up in a few of the Haven Home/ Limbo routes and is a very charming but subtly imposing figure.
