Sometimes I get super interested in the idea of creating some kind of videogame, never can I decide how I would want to style it because the time sink it is to learn how to program and do all the steps involved in making a videogame just goes way over my head. I just end up daydreaming about concepts that I don't think I could ever feasibly do in the short window of impulse time I have to do them.
Anyways, this character isn't anything special, I was trying to hone in on a character design that I found fun and easy to draw.
Never all that easy trying to make new characters because as fun as I make them look, I often lack the emotional need to draw them. Reason Lazlo stuck is because I made him first in a videogame and then proceeded to draw him as my own character. Feels bad that there are so many OCs I own that just go to the wayside, but I've tried to reuse them for other purposes, namely D&D when I see fit!
I think the kind of game I would want this character in is a RPG kind of game like Earthbound, deltarune, or Omori. Slice of life with some mix of cartoony fantasy elements. Or maybe no magic and fantasy, just make it entirely be based in reality and make the reality bits be encounters for "combat" (like the idea of overcoming social anxiety and starting up an encounter when stepping up to the cash register to get a drink at starbucks).
Fun to speculate ideas, never really sure when I'm going to commit to them.
EDIT: just realized this motherfucker looks like goddamn Keith from Voltron with that middle hairstyle. smh. I quit character design.
