In the past few months, I've secretly worked with a music producer and a singer. Yay! This was a new experience for me, and the first time one of my games has its own song. 🥲
The video effects were done by yours truly, since I was unable to find someone who could do what I needed without a several months waitlist and top-secret prices. And while I prepared a script to send to a video producer I haven't found yet, I realized I had to design every scene and detail anyway, so I may as well make it myself.
I'm aiming to publish Chapter 5 next Monday!
We found some errors during in-house testing that I'll be fixing now. If you find more when it's released, I'll do my best to fix them quickly. 😅
I realized I would have to schedule time for more testing since the game has grown a lot, so I can't just write the last chapters as quickly as I did the first. I'll need to test everything with multiple characters, and that takes a long time since I always decide to change something while playing.

As the creator, you’re entitled to think so. The entire reason people are supporting you is because we love what you create. It’s less about there being issues to fix, and more about being able to help you. It’s the same reasons editors exist to help with writers. First drafts are supposed to be messy, but if you have ten people helping find the errors that you need to fix, then you focus on the creative side and correcting the errors other people find. (Because anyone can find errors. Only you create your games.)

2024-05-22 16:18:35 +0000 UTCI'm considering adding playtesting / earlier access to Patreon supporters, but I'm not sure how it would work out at this point. These chapters feel embarrassingly unfinished up until a point when they suddenly become decent enough to publish.

Either way I am pumped to play the next chapter. Team Kaiser, of course, but I also want to see a much more antagonistic Kaiser if he sees there’s no shot.
