Announcing Side Project (Otome)
Added 2024-03-06 17:42:33 +0000 UTCI've already discussed this with some of you on Discord, but now it's official. I've started working with a new artist, Salshaa, to make new character sprites, and I will be re-writing the VN Jester/King for a female protagonist.
Right now, I'm only working on designing the new sprites with the artist, and my main focus is still on the Cursed Trial. I hope to work on this VN while taking a break or if I have writer's block with the Demonheart series. :')
Anyway, we have the sprite of the most important character in the universe of Quilissia, Calix. :'''') He's based on the old sprite, but hopefully more manly. I'm still planning how to handle the female protagonist and if we could maybe make her customizable. Also, I'm considering keeping the jester Madion as a character, but not the main character, and making him darker and more deranged.
BTW, while working on the Cursed Trial, I've noticed a resemblance in Ran and Calix's personalities (I really can't write a good guy, can I?) If you like Ran you should like Calix, and if not... as Janiya would say, "good luck" :)
If you hate the otome remake as much as you hated the first Jester/King I'll try to post less about it. But I never got over the fact that I worked on this game full-time for a year and a half, so I will be re-publishing it, when I have the time.

Especially Madison's mad owl look was really cute. I thing biggest "problem" was that most of the fans seem to like het. I was hyped to see M/M from you, though! I will also be delighted if eventually you make some F/F romance options... no pressure though! You are really my favorite provider of toxic romances. As long as you follow your heart, I will be happy to see what you create.

I loved Madison and looking forward to see a crazier version of him (can we kiss him??? pleeeeease???). Very hyped about the remake! Hope you have fun with it. <3

2024-03-12 16:02:50 +0000 UTCI was sad it was over so quick, for sure, but I didn’t find it hard to follow at all. Also, it made me remember that Jasper was a fairly good guy! Maybe he would have proved me wrong if given more time, but he was pretty good in comparison to almost anyone else. Lol

2024-03-08 19:42:38 +0000 UTCI'm thinking about maybe editing the text of Demonheart (some early complaints were that the story went too quickly to the point it was unclear) and getting new character art, with more CGs, and republishing. But for now it feels scary :)

2024-03-07 00:13:34 +0000 UTCI’m excited for it. I enjoy refreshers to stories. I’d like to see the original DemonHeart refreshed as well. Not because the art was bad (because it wasn’t), but because it looks like your sprites have more emotional variances now. :)
