Future Projects - Poll
Added 2022-10-30 13:20:31 +0000 UTCIn the final weeks before the launch of Demonheart: The Ice Demon, among other things I'm thinking about when I'll start a new project and what it should be. I would like to be prepared and have things decided in advance, although right now, rest is what I need most. :) Anyway, I wanted to ask for your input.
I've received questions about continuing the old Demonheart, or having the same characters appear in new games. For a while, I didn't want to do this. I was so burned out after the DH VN and Hunters. I still feel like I don't have anything exciting to add to the old team's stories. Bright, okay. She can always get in trouble and grow stronger. But Brash will never be as exciting as when he first betrayed you. It would be just senseless for him to betray Bright again. Raze doesn't have any new plot twists in store, and Razey was never a very good son to Bright to begin with. So, I've been thinking how I could have these characters appear in some sort of quest and make comments on various events, NWN style, but it would mostly be fanservice.
A while ago, I started prototyping a 3D game in Unity, which reminds me of the time with the NWN toolset, except Unity works on my computer. I'm thinking about having two parallel projects, one would be a 3D game and another a VN, since I like making both.
Here are some ideas for future games, please vote on which one you'd like to see most. I'll have to think well before I decide, but anyway, I wanted to let you know what I'm thinking of.
