His dynamic linework and the way he designs strong, muscular female characters never fail to amaze me.
Although his last series didn’t find commercial success, it set a new standard in the hearts of many illustrators like myself.
Ever since then, I’ve been waiting for his next serialization, convinced that this artist is destined to rise.
And now, after all these years, the wait is finally over.
Yuki Kawaguchi’s new series "灯火のオテル" begins serialization today in Weekly Shonen Jump.
Due to geographical limitations, I can’t rush to a convenience store to grab a physical copy—but I can’t wait to read the digital magazine on Kindle.
